Hunting for Eggs

March 24, 2013 by Sarah

Some sweet college friends of mine invited us to an Easter egg hunt at a local school playground.  It was such a fun time to get the kids together and let them hunt for eggs.  They were so sweet to serve some cute snacks and tons of eggs filled with candy!  Kevin had some work obligations, but I was determined to head out with the kids so that Savannah could participate in her first official hunt for eggs!

She’s off!

She needed some help from Mommy!
She did pretty well!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to actually enjoy everyone’s company because this girl kept me super busy on the playground.  I had to stay on her toes pretty closely because I was afraid she’d fall off some of the equipment.

This girl LOVED playing with her eggs!  Even after all the candy was gone, she played with them practically all week!  She would sit down and open and close them over and over and over….and then ask me to open them over and over and over and over.  I had no idea something so simple would interest her so much!  It was pretty cute.

I’m hoping we can enjoy some fun Easter traditions in the years to come!
